Dania Jai-Alai
Jai-Alai offers breathtaking action on jai-alai, the Basque game that many
refer to as "the game of a thousand thrills". You can now bet
on the dazzling exploits of Dania's all-star roster of pelotaris from the
comfort of your home.
When Dania Jai-Alai opened in 1953, it was only the second jai-alai fronton
in the United States. It is located in the city of Dania Beach, also known
as the "Antique Shopping Center of South Florida" and is just
10 minutes away from Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, Florida, and only 30
minutes north of Miami's South Beach.
 Dania
current 220,000 square foot "Showplace of Jai-Alai" has comfortable
seating for 5,600 and boasts a sports bar, a simulcast betting facility,
restaurants, banquet facilities, cocktail lounges, bars, snack bars and
acres of well-lighted parking. Annual attendance is over 500,000.
Due to its prominence in the Florida Jai-Alai scene, tournaments held in
Dania are always highly-anticipated. Among the major ones are: the United
Fronton Challenge featuring Dania Jai-Alai vs. Miami Jai-Alai; the Battle
of Champions and the Mini-Tournament for the National Association
